About Me:

My name is Ben. I grew up in California before moving to Oregon to study geography. I love GIS, cartography, programming, and remote sensing. Since 2015, I’ve lived in Osaka, Japan. I currently teach at an international school. I’m also a visiting researcher at Osaka Metropolitan University, where I am learning about lidar and 3D printing.

I’m interested in art, design, and am still 1990s-level optimistic about the internet. (How cool is it that cuneiform can be rendered in Unicode? See? 𒃌).
